Heptagonal wreath glowing in the night

Hi!

While discussing with Peter in the tetrahelix thread I brought out my photos of the heptagonal crown I made some time ago.
I might as well share them here.

My first version, based on the 2-flying-saucers-crash shape (EDIT: it's called an Oloid) looked like this (with a horrible choice of colors because I had scraped the bottom of the drawer in search of the last rods I had left):

As I was looking for a stripped down version I decided to remove a few rods from the outer edge and and I got this rather stylish version:

And then on the floor but still with my phone. Not so bad eh?

Yes I have some more glowing rods than others ... the vagaries of second-hand market ...

Here are the models.
With the central heptagonal antiprism, the deviation on the length of edges is 1% which is barely noticeable due to variations in the manufacturing process of balls and rods.
When I constrain the model to have edges of unit length, the two heptagons do not form an heptagonal antiprism anymore. I have included both models.
