Well done Tychi! A nice slightly different variation from Peter's in shape and color 8-)
The alternation of colors is pretty.
If I counted correctly, you used 1020 rods (84 per tentacle + 12 support)
On your zoomed-in photo we can't see your reflection. Where are you ? ;-)

This model is still on my to-do list!
I read about the collapse problems you had during construction. Thanks for the description, I will take that into account when I go for it ;)
(The problem is that I'm very busy at the moment and I don't have a moment to myself :cry: )

Peter(?) says in the comment: "The glass display couldn't fit the whole model, so it's only partly built. For the sake of stability during the expo, the 'arms' aren't extended to their theoretical maximum."
