But old yellow bars have a slightly different shade than the new.

Really?
Do you mean there's a difference between old and new of the short (27 mm) bars? Or between the 27mm and 58 mm bars?

It could be, but I'm just guessing here, that there might be a slight colour difference between old-old 27 mm bars produced before 2004 in Italy and 27 mm bars produced in the new factory in Switzerland since 2004.
Or it could be that old bars left in the sun could be slightly discoloured due to the UV radiation. I know that the materials used now are also chosen for UV resistance to discoloration..

yes, I mean a difference between old and new of the short bars made in Switzerland
older were yellower than the new bars, which is quite an orange

here is one not very successful photo

I also noticed this color difference systematically on several boxes. The yellow of geomag pro color boxes is more orange-tinted than any older Geomag color box produced in Switzerland or in Italy during the Plastwood era.

It is not necessarily very noticeable in the photos, but with the naked eye, you can spot it right away. Without even needing to put them side by side to compare.

But hey, overall, it's not more embarrassing than that. Even when mixed in a construction.

I am desperately looking for 'Light green transparent'.
But I can't find it. It's the only color that I really miss

I saw light-green-transparent rods once in a real-life photo. You see a few on the left side of the photo, directly connected to the yellows.
It's AFKAN their happy owner 8-)
And Peter spotted them right away (look at his comment below the photo) ;)

More visible on the 2 other photos

It's been 8 months now that I scour the second-hand market and I have never seen one for sale

Since the 066 set was
1) the largest (and thus most expensive) of the sets available,
2) the only one with the transparent light green rods,
3) and only contained 24 of them,
that would make them quite rare to find "in the wild" I reckon..
