Great work getting this up and running again 8-)

This will no doubt rekindle a few of us' interest in all things Geomag :D

Yes, I agree...great to be back! Oh, wait...it's my first time here. :)

Seems my timing is impeccable. I only found the Geomag Wiki a few months ago which rekindled my interest.

I'm glad to see forums again as well. Two months ago when I showed a coworker Rafael's site and discovered he had passed away, I pulled out my Geomag and started playing with them again. I then found the Wiki site and the YouTube videos and wanted to try my hand at building a few things again.

Two failed attempts at the 1440 sphere later, it's still my goal to eventually build it...

In the meantime I'm hoping that sometime soon I'll be able to buy some metallic blue Geomag again so I can make the thing out of a single color :). I'm sure that having to build it out of two colors is what's causing it to fall apart *grins*

(Okay, building it in sections and trying to put those large sections together with less than 4 arms is what made it fail, but it sounds like a good excuse to get more Geomag to me).

Wim, don't give up.

Here's the photo from the one and only time I've managed it. It was my tenth or eleventh try if I remember correctly. I even started photographing the collapses to see if I was making any progress or if they all fell down at the same point.
