I see that this forum is open for non-standard Sphere sizes.

Here's the largest Icosahedron that I built from 27mm rods, so far: 45mm solid 100Cr6 balls.

I tried the same with 50mm solid spheres, but gave up after too many failed attempts.

The rods still center nicely on the large spheres. The main problem is the increase in weight, when using solid spheres.

As I consider myself a fully independent creator, I use to combine different material that suits best for what I have in mind. I am not sure whether this forum would be open for other brand rods. In case you'd be interested, check my website and the links to my IG posts.

But back to the Spheres topic: I currently have a big assortment of 100Cr6 (1.3505) steel balls from 9mm to 50mm - I've got balls, you bet!
