When you look closely at the center you notice a pentagon shape. As it is made up of the 5 oloids, it is slightly irregular (because the 5 oloids do not fit perfectly) and slightly larger than a standard pentagon of 5 rods.
I decided to get rid of the oloids and all the heavy lower part of my 5 leaf clover and start over from a standard 5 rod pentagon. The pattern is almost identical and the overall result is thinner.
And since it is built on a standard 5 rod pentagon, it can be hung up on a pentagonal tubular frame
