Another new shape, at least as far as I know.

But as a 'building block' I doubt we can do much with it, just as the Oloid shape doesn't play well with others regarding geometic connections, I doubt this one will. And used as a truss, knowing how unstable the twisted helix shape is, I assume this one won't fare better. But maybe the middle-lenght version can hold its' own a bit.
I am of course being negative in all my assessions, so that you can go and prove me wrong.

I didn't have any Yoda-style indirect way of having you arrive at a certain shape with these hints about doubling and prolonging the Oloids, this is how far I explored it. I did some starfish-shaped pavillion shapes by joining up 3 double-size Oloids, but beyond that I didn't have much success.
My initial hope when I experimented with the Oloid was to use it or one of the derivatives to arrive at a modular Dodecahedron or Icosahedron, but as far as my discoveries, the Oloid is best as a standalone solid shape. Please someone prove me wrong
