Since it's nice and sunny out, I finally got to try and take some decent pictures of glow-in-the-dark Geomag:


Since the outer layer (blue metallic) doesn't show anyway, I peeled it off for the next picture:


Then I opened the door to let some light in, which resulted in the following picture:

Finally had a punt at one of these last night...

What a total nightmare

Had to go the dodec route, then poke the rods though then remove the dodec.

Got there in the end though

Wim, what are you using to charge your glow up so successfully???

Sunlight. This past Saturday it was quite sunny out. So I took the model outside for a few minutes, then moved it inside and quickly took some pictures. Then back outside to peel the shell off of the model and recharge, and back inside for pictures...

It's a very cool model, but initially difficult to build. So I've built it a few times by now and it's a lot easier once you know what you're doing in making it. But it's also why I put the post about it in the building challenges/instructions earlier.
